HISTORY

ICARE was initially founded by three non-medics, they learnt to trust each other, and by trial and error progressively gained experience needed to be operational in the Stanton system.

Those particular roots can be felt in the knowledge-sharing and training operations, as well as a comradeship that is core to ICARE.







As ICARE grew the founders met new members, key-persons from other organizations,

such as the Red and Black Coalition, who perfectly fit their mutual values,

together they forged alliances to create a network of mutually supporting organizations.


ICARE provides the dedicated Medical and Rescue support in this network

but always keeps in mind the importance of the cooperation in the struggle

for political autonomy and against oppression forces,

in this we are united with the rest of the network.

Mutual aid projects can be a form of political participation in which people take responsibility for caring for one another and changing political condition
